With the “Real People” Names Mod, colonists and tribespeople will get plausable sounding names instead of “Black Iguana” or “Koala ‘Val’ Purple”, etc.

“Real People” Names Mod features

This mod replaces the standard colonist and tribesperson names with the top 1000ish selection of surnames from the USA 2010 census and given names from social security registration from 1974 to 2017.

It works perfectly with the Lost Tribe scenario, mostly works with the Crashlanded scenario, and absolutely does not work with the Rich Explorer scenario.

This mod is compatible with existing saves, it does not require you to start a new game.

Summary

If you’re bothered by the strange and random names that world pawns get, the “Real People” Names Mod is just for you. With it all the pawns generated will have average US names, as if americans had colonized that planet long ago!
